Things we will look for:
Deadlines are real. If you don’t give notice within 1 year, the claim can be barred—even if the damage is legit. Supplemental costs after initial payment generally must be noticed within 18 months. The Florida Senate
Late reporting hurts claims. Policies require prompt notice and compliance with post-loss duties (photos, access for inspection, mitigation). The longer you wait, the easier it is for insurers to question cause and timing. Property Insurance Coverage Law Blog
Damage can be hidden. Wind can break shingle seals or shift tiles without obvious missing pieces; hail bruises can shed granules over time—compromising the underlayment and leading to leaks later. (Catching it early helps you fix or document it before it worsens.)
You must mitigate. Florida policyholders are expected to prevent further damage (tarping, temporary dry-in). Acting now protects your home—and your claim.
On-site assessment by a Project Manager — focused on wind and hail indicators for asphalt shingles and concrete/clay tile.
Time-stamped photo documentation — slope-by-slope images of creased/lifted shingles, missing granules, slipped or fractured tiles, flashing/valley issues, and underlayment exposure.
Measured roof diagram — supports accurate pricing and separates pre-storm wear from storm-related damage.
Clear, plain-English findings — you’ll know if your roof is in good condition, needs maintenance/repair, or appears to have storm-related damage worth presenting to your insurer.
Evidence packet you can use — organized photos and notes you can share with your carrier and adjuster to streamline the process.
If damage is present — we explain the claim timelines and “what to expect,” so you can decide right away whether to notify your insurer. The Florida Senate
Preserve your rights before the 1-year clock runs out. The Florida Senate
Avoid insurer backlogs after big storms by documenting early.
Reduce out-of-pocket risk by meeting your duty to mitigate (and keeping receipts).
Even if your roof hasn’t been affected by a storm, it may simply be aged, leaking, or in need of maintenance, repair, or replacement. Whether you’re a homeowner with an aging roof, a property owner dealing with a leak, a builder managing a new construction project, or a general contractor seeking competitive bids, we provide thorough assessments tailored to your needs.
Was your property damaged by hurricane, high winds or hail?
You can file a claim without worrying that your insurer will cancel or nonrenew you just because the loss was from a storm. Florida law prohibits insurers from using an “act of God” claim—such as hurricane or hail damage—as the reason to cancel or nonrenew, unless you repeatedly ignore reasonable requests to prevent the same damage from happening again. Florida Legislature
§627.4133(3)
“Claims… that are the result of an act of God may not be used as a cause for cancellation or nonrenewal.” Florida Legislature
§627.4133(2)(e)1.a–b
“An authorized insurer may not cancel or nonrenew… for a period of 90 days after the dwelling… has been repaired.” Florida Legislature
“Until the earlier of when the dwelling… has been repaired or 1 year after the insurer issues the final claim payment…” Florida Legislature
Furthermore, regarding Premiums; they change at renewal based on state-regulated filings and market conditions. Insurers can’t simply “punish” you mid-term for reporting storm damage; any premium change must follow an approved rating plan. Whether a single storm claim affects your renewal price depends on the carrier’s filed rules and broader market factors, not a knee-jerk reaction to one report. FLOIR
§627.062
“The rates… may not be excessive, inadequate, or unfairly discriminatory.” Florida Legislature
“A copy of rates… and changes thereto, must be filed with the office…” Florida Legislature
There is a real deadline. Florida gives you one year from the date of loss to give notice of a new or reopened property claim, and 18 months for a supplemental claim. Waiting can forfeit your rights, and late reporting makes it easier for carriers to question the cause and timing. Florida LegislatureFlorida Senate
§627.70132(2)
“A claim or reopened claim… is barred unless notice… [is given] within 1 year after the date of loss.” The Florida Senate
“A supplemental claim is barred unless notice… [is given] within 18 months after the date of loss.” The Florida Senate
This is where we can legally help you as Certified Roofing Contractor. Our Free Roof Inspection documents storm indicators with time-stamped photos and a measured roof diagram, then explains—in plain English—whether your roof appears sound, needs maintenance or repair, or shows storm-related damage worth presenting to your insurer. If you decide to file, you’ll already have organized evidence to support your claim and to meet your post-loss duties.
If you don’t need a claim, we’ll issue you a Free Roof Health Report so you can move on with confidence.
Tired of roofers who vanish after a visit?
They don’t answer when you call, when you finally get a hold of them, they show up, promise a one-material quote, then go silent for days—or weeks. When you eventually get their estimate, there is only one material choice on their proposal and it’s for what you already had.
If they can’t even get an estimate to you in a timely fashion, imagine the continued lack of service if you contract and pay a deposit! That would be frustrating.
We aim to be different. We respect your time. You can expect timely communication, side-by-side material options, and fast, accurate estimates on your schedule. Clear timelines. Proactive updates. Fewer interruptions. No runaround—We promise you will never have to chase us.
Actually we Guarantee it.
We give you the following promises:
That’s correct, we will provide you with Multiple Proposals to replace your roof with various material options, including: Asphalt Laminated Shingles, Concrete Tile, Clay Tile, 5V Crimp Metal, Standing Seam Metal, and more…
The reason we can do this is because of our Proprietary Roof Estimation Platform which produces our In-House Pricing, Specifically for Your Project.
The genius is that it does this for all of the roof systems listed, all at the same time! This is our secret weapon! With a good hand drawn diagram we can input the proper data to immediately produce multiple proposals, so we know what materials and labor is needed with extreme accuracy, down to a box of nails, for every roofing system!
This means accurate pricing delivered to your hands rapidly, via multiple proposals from Roofing Systems of America, enabling you to make an informed decision regarding your roofing project, with options!

Mike Holmes2025-05-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a bunch of people knock on our door and didn’t realize that we had damage from the storm. A neighbor recommended these guys so we gave him a shot. The insurance company said that we didn’t have much damage and tried to minimize it. My wife tried to convince me that we were wasting our time and not to do Anything, but my commonsense kicked in and the thought of paying for this roof one day out-of-pocket when the insurance company could be liable for it right now Helped me come to my senses and realize that it was pretty much no reason why I wouldn’t give these guys a shot. I’m glad that I am and that’s why I’m leaving this long testimony because I’m sure other people felt like I did which is pretty much I just didn’t want to be bothered or hassle by somebody that was trying to “sell me something” I’m really glad I gave these guys a shot because of my insurance company came out here. They pretty much said that it was repairable and there was not much damage. Elijah came out here and showed me his experience and made me feel comfortable so I let him keep communicating with the insurance company. Long story short after some back-and-forth, we got a full roof replacement, Gutters, a bunch of screens in our lanai, and interior water stain replaced and all I paid was my deductible. So I was extremely happy with this. I don’t know if anybody’s telling other people but after I got the new roof, I went to check my insurance for my car and my insurance agent saw that I got a new roof and I saved more money on my insurance because the roof age went down to zero. That’s something that I wasn’t even thinking about so Financially… This was a really smart decision. Thanks Elijah your guys were great. You guys did a great job of cleaning up. The last guys left a bunch of crap around my property. Thanks for being great. I still owe you a beer lol 🍻 Anna Sadovenko2025-05-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service and Quality! If your roof is leaking, missing shingles/tiles, or has been damaged by a recent storm, we can help. Call us for a Free Roof Inspection. We will assess the work thats needed and provide you with a repair estimate on site, same day!
When deciding if you want to repair versus replace your roof, it’s important to get a professional opinion of the current state of your roof. If the material is in a condition where repairs can be performed and the amount of repairs per slope is limited, then we recommend you repair your roof rather than replace it.
However, when the roof reaches an age where repairs are not feasible, or if your material is discontinued and cannot be sourced, or if you have storm damages that would merit a full replacement paid for by insurance proceeds, then we will recommend a full replacement, or for you to file a claim.
The costs of repairs can vary based on the type of material that is installed, and the extent of work required to offer a Workmanship Warranty we can stand by. There is a minimum charge of $1,500.00 assessed on any repair work, which covers our baseline costs of insurance, mobilization, and administrative costs. However, we always aim to keep our repair pricing fair and reasonable.
Even if you don’t see missing tiles or leaks, your roof could be compromised.
Tile damage often looks like what you see here → (see photo).
Tiles can appear intact from the ground but may be slipping or detached due to wind pressures.
When tiles move, water seeps under the surface, damaging the underlayment and shortening roof life.
Insurance may cover a full replacement if recent hurricanes, tornadoes, or hail storms caused the damage.
If it’s just a repair or replacement, we’ll provide same-day professional proposals for multiple roofing systems.
If your roof is healthy, you’ll still receive a complimentary Roof Health Report & maintenance program to extend its life.
Our Roof Shield Maintenance Program
Whether you have an aging roof, or just had your roof replaced, it’s important to maintain it to get the full useful life out of the material, and save you thousands in premature re-roofing costs.
We designed a comprehensive Roof Shield Maintenance Program which includes:
The cost of the Roof Shield Maintenance Program is only $1,000 a Year paid up front or $100 a Month
At the included, twice yearly, roof inspections we will investigate every facet of your roof for needed repairs. We will re-apply sealant along flashings and penetrations, including skylights, as needed. We will also clean any debris impeding waterflow in your gutters and valleys, which are prone to cause leaks when not flowing freely.
When it comes time for preventative maintenance items like cleaning tiles, applying nano-tech to shingles to improve longevity, coating flat roofs, replacing worn pipe boots, and other routine roof maintenance items, you will receive:
If shingles were blown off during high winds, the damage is obvious and needs prompt attention. But wind damage isn’t always visible from the street. Often the adhesive seal on the leading edge of a shingle breaks, or tabs lift/crease without blowing off. Either way, water can reach vulnerable areas.
Hail can bruise asphalt shingles. Over time, the impact spot loses granules, exposing the asphalt-impregnated fiberglass mat. Once exposed, moisture penetration accelerates wear and can lead to leaks and interior damage. Hail effects may be delayed and easy to miss without a close inspection.
Our free inspection determines whether your roof is in good condition or needs maintenance, repair, or replacement. We’ll:
Provide photo documentation of any issues
Explain findings in plain English
Recommend the right next step—and show pictures to back it up
Call now or fill out the form to schedule your free inspection. If storm damage is present, we’ll document it and explain your options.
Don’t see missing tiles or shingles from the ground? You can still have storm damage. Common issues—wind-uplifted tiles, slipped tiles, lifted shingles, broken tiles, cracked or curled shingles, and granule loss—often hide from street level and can compromise the underlayment and lead to leaks.
On-time visit by a Project Manager
Full photo documentation of problem areas and roof components
Hand-measured, hand-drawn roof diagram for accuracy (we may supplement with drone photos where appropriate)
A clear summary showing if you need maintenance, repair, replacement, or if your roof is in good condition
Concrete tile: Negative wind pressure can loosen tiles so they slide downslope even though they look “in place.” That movement lets water reach the underlayment.
Asphalt shingles: Wind uplift can break seals and expose nail lines; hail and debris impact cause fractures and granule loss that accelerate aging and leaks.
If your roof shows qualifying hail, wind, hurricane, or tornado damage, you may be eligible for an insurance-funded roof replacement. We’ll document, explain your options, and help you understand the claim process—so you can decide with confidence.
Whether you need a repair or a full replacement, we build multiple accurate estimates from your measurements and photos—often the same day—so you can compare materials and pricing side by side:
Laminated asphalt shingle roofing
Concrete tile roofing
Clay tile roofing
5V-crimp metal roofing
Standing seam metal roofing
Stone-coated steel roofing
Great news. You’ll receive a Free Roof Health Report and a maintenance plan to extend service life.
Call us or fill out the form to schedule your Free Roof Inspection.
We respect your time—no chasing, no runaround.
*** While we DO NOT interpret insurance policy provisions or adjust claims, we CAN provide you with detailed findings to support your discussions with your insurance company or to help you determine the best course of action for necessary repairs or replacement. For guidance on policy coverage or claims, we recommend consulting a licensed public adjuster, attorney or your insurance provider.
